Hospice
of Little Traverse Bay has been greatly blessed to be located in
a community that is so supportive. Many businesses contribute annually
to our Benefit Auction in November, whether with donations of items
or cash gifts. This year we are looking to expand our business donor
base and also ask our current donors to consider giving a little
bit more as we work to make the "House of Comfort, House of
Care" a reality.
We've composed a list of items that would be deeply appreciated
as gifts in kind. Our list ranges from paint and wallpaper to a
kitchen table and chairs. Many opportunities will exist for local
businesses to participate in the construction of our facilities.
A Facilities Planning Committee is busy developing our construction
documents and interior design for the residence. Once that is complete,
we will be posting a list of items needed for completion of the
facility.
Any donation of in-kind items will be recognized in the same manner
as our individual cash gifts on our donor wall in the Community
Grief and Loss Center.
Financial support is obviously very important in moving our project
forward and allows us to focus donations on completing the hospice
residence without using resources that could be better utilized
on patient care. Our committee is looking for any business that
has a corporate foundation or charitable giving committee who might
be interested in assisting us with our efforts. For more information
