Personal contributions have been the stronghold of our fundraising efforts each year. By building the hospice residence, there are many unique ways to both help support this much needed community service, and to make a gift that keeps giving back to the community.

Memorial gifts are considered one of the most meaningful ways to support our program. The House will enable donors to make contributions in memory of loved ones, and have those contributions recognized in the House itself. Memorial opportunities have been created, and are available for you to make a long lasting gift in honor or memory of someone that you love.

All gifts to our building project will be recognized on our donor wall in the Community Grief and Loss Center. Gifts over $1000 will be recognized with a tile on our donor recognition quilt.

Hospice of LTB will continue to grow and expand our programs based on the needs of the community. You can contribute to the "House of Comfort, House of Care" Building Campaign by contributing specifically to one of our donor designated funds. We have created special program funds in order to continue to maintain these free services for anyone in our service area who should need them. You may designate your gift toward one of the following:

• Pregnancy and Infant Loss Support Program
• Spiritual Care Program
• Edith Littler Volunteer Recognition Fund

As part of the campaign to raise funds for Hiland Cottage and meet the Kresge Foundation challenge, HOLTB is offering the community an opportunity to be a lasting part of the hospice residence.

These tribute opportunities give donors the opportunity to remember special individuals with a memorial or tribute gift. A commemorative gift honors a loved one’s life and serves to reflect upon the memories that live forever. A gift made in honor of an individual recognizes a person who has had a special impact on your life. Gifts are also made in honor of birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, and other special occasions.

For a gift of $150 or $300 you may purchase a brick in honor or memory of a loved one, in recognition of your family or friends as a lasting tribute to be placed in the walkway outside Hiland Cottage, in the memorial garden and on future walking paths.

All gifts will be used toward the Kresge Foundation challenge program and for construction of Hiland Cottage. No gift is too small and every gift makes a big difference!
